It was a great lunch spot for some pho on our drove up to VT!
This is one of our regulars for sit down or take-out. Never been disappointed with anything, food and service. Quick, fresh, delicious, generous portions and the most affordable restaurant downtown. Lemongrass chili beef vermicelli is my go to and the vietnamese coffee is a treat.
I love pho capital. Food is tasty fast and really authentic.
Really good food, but very bad service. Pickup that was supposed to be ready in a half an hour, took an hour and a half. Waited in the restaurant the whole time. They kept saying it would be ready in 5 minutes. It wasn't. This has happened on multiple occasions. If you order a food gluten free to go and have multiple of the same food, they won't specify which one is gluten free. But, like I said, the food is very good.
Sorry I’m Vietnamese and I won’t come back. I had the special of the day “bun bo Hue” (beef and pork noodle soup) but its sugary sweet broth was such a turn-off. I couldn’t get over it and had to drink extra water along the way. My partner had pho and its broth was equally sugary sweet. My pork was overcooked and dry. The chopsticks were waxed/coated so it was hard to use them to pick up anything, especially the noodles. The space looks clean and quiet though.
